We built the first version entirely for ourselves, and honestly, we could have just hardcoded it into our own projects and moved on. Instead, something about the problem felt worth solving properly. We designed it as a real product from the beginning - with a clean API, reliable delivery, and a free tier generous enough that most people will never need to upgrade. As we used it across more of our own sites, we kept refining the parts that felt clunky, and what started as an internal tool became something we were genuinely proud to hand to other people.
